HAYLIE DUFF & IOAN GRUFFUDD STEP OUT TO CELEBRATE
RICKARD SHAH'S ICON COLLECTION

January 24, 2007
Los Angeles, CA -

Last night was an evening of glamour as Jessica Alba hosted a cocktail party with Elizabeth Rickard and Binith Shah at hip LA boutique Iconology to launch Rickard Shah's limited edition Icon Collection. The Icon Collection features Rickard Shah's popular peep toe style, regularly worn by fashion icons such as Jessica Alba, Kate Winslet, Ziyi Zhang and Rachel Bilson, made in six limited edition colors & fabrications including eggplant satin ($625), emerald green satin ($625), gunmetal metallic leather ($625), antique gold metallic leather ($625), beige silk shantung ($650) and silver lizard ($850). The shoes can be ordered through the month of February at Iconology (323) 965-9666 and can be customized with the owner's initials on the soles for a unique, personal touch. Twenty percent of the proceeds from sales of the Icon Collection will benefit Keep A Child Alive (www.keepachildalive.org), a charity Jessica personally selected to partner with for the occasion.

As host for the evening, Jessica looked chic wearing a dress by Lanvin paired with Rickard Shah's gunmetal leather Icon heels. Alba's friends Eva Longoria, Haylie Duff and Fantastic Four co-star Ioan Gruffudd stopped by to support their friend and check out the collection. Also seen in the crowd were model/actress/fashion designer Milla Jovovich, wearing a dress from her Jovovich-Hawk line for MNG (MANGO), and We Are Marshall's beautiful redheaded star Kate Mara in Rickard Shah's disco-inspired RIMA silver and gold metallic twisted leather heels.

Gonpachi, a new venture from Global Dining CA, served traditional Japanese fair and guests were treated to wine from Washington State's cult winery, Woodhouse Family Cellars (www.woodhousefamilycellars.com).

The perfect setting for such a star-studded event, Iconology's chic, feminine Parisian atelier setting provides the perfect playground for a woman to indulge her every fashion whim, from sophisticated ready-to-wear and contemporary sportswear to shoes and accessories from both sought-after and new designers. The store is the brainchild of former Women's Wear Daily West Coast retail editor Michelle Dalton Tyree and her sister Jackie Dalton, a designer of women's sportswear.
